रणकपुर जैन मंदिर (चतुर्मुख धरणा विहार)
Renowned for its spectacular architecture and 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars, no two of which are identical. Commissioned by the devout Jain businessman Dharna Shah under the patronage of Rana Kumbha of Mewar. Designed by the master architect Depa (Deepaka), this majestic 3-storey marble shrine took over 50 years to complete. Its Chaumukha (four-faced) design symbolizes the Tirthankara conquering the four cardinal directions.
